Meet Associate Attorney Kate Lyons

Kate is an Associate Attorney who advocates for victims of harassment and discrimination in the workplace. She has experience in all stages of litigation in state and federal court, in addition to guiding clients through mediation and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission administrative process.

She is a Boston native who earned her undergraduate degree in history and journalism from George Washington University. Prior to that, she spent a year living abroad in Scotland, studying at, and playing basketball for, the University of St. Andrews. She started her legal career working in-house at a cybersecurity company, then spent two years at a small firm specializing in plaintiff’s employment litigation.

In her free time, she plays kickball and volleyball in recreational sports leagues, and frequents the Nashville Symphony. She has completed various half marathons, including runDisney and the Nashville Rock ‘n Roll series.

She is a member of the following Bar Associations:
